Autumn is a great time to get married, its not usually too cold and the colours are breathtaking.
The barn is situated just outside Burnham Village, near Burnham Beeches and is within easy reach of the M4 and M40. It was built approximately in 1505 and has been beautifully refurbished. It is set within about 6 acres of landscaped gardens and fields.
I arrived at Burnham Beeches Hotel to start the day with preparation images of the Bride and the Bridesmaids getting ready.
The staff working at the hotel were fantastic. I walked around scouting for somewhere where I could take a few additional shots and was shown around to various suites and rooms. I was looked after very well and I’m very grateful to the team there. Thumbs up!
The hotel was a 5 minute drive to the barn. I arrived early to meet the Groom and Groomsmen for images prior to the Bridesmaids and the Bride’s arrival.
The Bridesmaids arrived shortly afterwards wearing stunning dark blue lace dresses in the beautiful red Beauford Tourer car supplied by Tophat and Tiara Cars.
The Bride travelled with her Mother and Father and arrived a few minutes later. She looked beautiful in her vintage style wedding dress.
The Father and Bride slowly walking into the ceremony.
The service went without a hitch and two of their guests each read a poem that complemented the ceremony wonderfully.
Straight after the ceremony we had the group shots and the photoshoot with the newly married couple.
Some of my favourite images from the photoshoot with the Newlyweds.
Everyone made their way through to the wedding breakfast. Every table was named after a tree and the barn had the feel of Autumn – it was tastefully done and looked great.
All the guests had a small jam jar with their name on it, a nice touch and even I had one, thanks guys!
I have to mention Debbie (Event Organiser) and the team at the Barn, they were simply a pleasure to work with. Debbie is wonderful and so nice . If you’re looking for a barn wedding then Burnham Tudor Barn is a great option and easy to get to.
Speeches followed dinner. The Bride’s Mum started the ball rolling with a very funny and witty speech followed by the Maid of Honour and Bride. All were very emotional and beautifully read.
The cake looked great and was decorated elegantly.
The chairs and tables were quickly whisked away by the team and the barn quickly transformed into a disco (wow did I really call it a disco, I’m getting old) let me rephrase that the barn transformed into a nightclub experience.
The DJ for the night was Greg Valentine. Greg was on point with all the music, absolutely awesome. He also sings and has an amazing voice.
Check him out if you’re looking for a DJ he will not disappoint. He has an amazing lighting set up that will make your party look and sound great.
It wasn’t long before everyone was dancing and boy could these guys dance. Friends of the couple had secretly rehearsed a dance routine Bollywood style and they raised the roof!
I Wish you both the best of luck in your married life, you’re a great couple and true soulmates!
All the best
